Determining which plugins are safe to disable.

Greetings José,

I am trying to determine if there is a precise method to follow when choosing to disable a plugin.

I understand it is obvious if you disable a plug-in and something no longer works then you should not disable that plugin but what about the less obvious.

I don’t know what the less obvious is but I am learning when you change something in WordPress and or plugins their will always be the potential for the less obvious.
