    We use the built-in wp_cron which only has three options: hourly, daily, and twice_daily, so unfortunately we won’t be adding that feature.

    That said, if you do a search for cron plugins, I think there are some that let you modify schedules and such to your liking, and you may be able to do some sort of weekly setup with one of them.

    One other bit that may be useful is a filter in EWWW IO that lets you switch between the three scheduling types, which I documented on this page: https://ewww.io/2016/03/26/ewww-i-o-filters-part-3/

    I forgot there is one other way you can do a custom schedule. If you have command-line access to the server (ssh or the like), you can use the wp-cli interface to EWWW IO, and run it on whatever schedule you like.
