Detected another active cache plugin – false error

    Hi LiteSpeed Team

    I have a new website, that has never had a caching plugin setup, yet when I try and activate LiteSpeed, I have received the following error:

    Detected another active cache plugin. Please deactivate the detected plugin and try again. You may also try manually installing through the WordPress Dashboard and following the instructions given. [LOG][3] Install is flagged [LOG][3] Install is flagged

    If I clear the flag and try to install manually, I get various other errors including these:

    [LOG][3] Install is flagged

    LSCWP Already Enabled But Not Caching – Detected another active cache plugin. Please visit the WordPress Dashboard for further instructions. [LOG][3] Install is flagged [LOG][3] Ignore – Existing install but advanced cache not set

    There hasn’t been another plugin installed for caching, and we have other sites with similar plugin sets that have been fine in the past.

    Also I have checked for this file as per other posts, and it doesn’t exist:

    /wp-content/advanced-cache.php

    I tried experimenting with disabling various plugins on the website, and still the error messages persist.

    Any advice on how to fix this will be hugely appreciated.

    Hi,

    Are you using cPanel plugin to activate it ? or was it direct activation in wp-admin?

    Its possible the compatibility between v3 and our cpanel plugin. You are using WHM/cpanel plugin to install right? If so, please allow us some time to improve it. Its in our schedule.
