    Hi BBQ,

Ok, I installed this plugin, seems to be 100% rating btw.

A mean I don’t want to deactivated the plugin just to test how malicious and etc threads it looks like attacking the site? But how do I know is working or not for protection? It’s a big chance to take!

    Any hints? Thanks

Hello, glad to help. Are you asking how to verify that the plugin works? If that is correct, you can grab any of the patterns included in the main plugin file and append them to any of your site’s URLs. For example, eval( is one of the patterns that is blocked, so you can append to your site’s URL like so:

    https://example.com/eval(

And that will trigger a 403 Forbidden error, which indicates that the plugin is working properly. Likewise, you can test other patterns. Just be mindful of the following:

    – Remove the escaping slashes from each pattern before testing
    – The query-string patterns need tested as a query string, for example:

    https://example.com/?localhost

    – Likewise, the user-agent patterns need to be tested as such (there are various online tools available for testing user agents)

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can provide any further infos.

    Hi BBQ,

I spoken with the hosting and tech guy, he hook me up and tested it. he recommended me to use your plugin. Even they have their own package, etc feature but costly!!!

Thanks for the information for testing. Great job!
