Hi, in the changelog for v1.8, you wrote:

Apparently WordPress core devs had a change of heart about root relative urls, this patch fixes add media support.

Can you kindly clarify exactly what this “change of heart” refers to? What specifically have the devs changed? And what specifically does 1.8 fix/change in the plugin?

    Thanks!

It was my mistake, I thought they had decided to use root relative urls for image/media assets. Turns out I was wrong, it was just a case of a hook being called twice in one request by the core. 1.8 adds support for root relative image assets, and fixes a PHP notice. I’ve updated the readme.
