Details being deleted no customer information on order

    After updating to the latest WooCommerce PayPal Payments I had issues where the name, email, shipping details were gone. Paypal came up with an error message below and the payment went through. Its like miscommunication between the website and Paypal and the details were deleted. I am getting other payments come through from different plugins for credit card that work fine. I rolled back to a previous version but dont know if this fixed the problem yet.

    • CANNOT_BE_NEGATIVE: Must be greater than or equal to zero. If the currency supports decimals, only two decimal places are supported.
    • CANNOT_BE_ZERO_OR_NEGATIVE: Must be greater than zero. If the currency supports decimals, only two decimal places are supported.

  • We have a client that is having the same issue. They do have a custom checkbox added to their checkout page which seems to be the issue as stated above.

    Currently I have just downgraded the plugin until a fix can be implemented.

    Having the same issue. It is not something consistent, and did happen to 1 order out of about 3.

    The order in the admin dashboard was missing all details except the email. It was a simple order, with just 1 item and no coupons etc.

    We have a custom checkbox (non-required) that is added by the WP Fusion plugin.

    Just to add to this thread, we’re currently experiencing the same issue and have seen it on 2 orders so far over the past few days. As mentioned by others, we also have a custom checkbox during checkout.

    Hopefully this can be resolved soon because a lot of our systems are automated and as such, these orders are currently being forwarded to our printers without any information which is super confusing.

    Same issue on roughly 1/5 of orders. We are using Germanized for Woocommerce which also adds custom Checkboxes to checkout (if that is indeed the problem).

    We also have a custom checkbox on our checkout page.

    I have a client experiencing the same issue since the new update. Will be paying attention to this thread for an update and will rollback in the meantime. The site affected has 38 active plugins.

    We have the same issue, but only from yesterday. Three orders in total, one of them with coupon. Three Rollback helped. In two of the orders we notice strange ip address 173.0.81.65 that leads to paypal.

    We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. To clarify, order details aren’t actually being deleted, but rather the update 2.2.0 introduced a feature that creates WooCommerce orders upon receiving a payment confirmation webhook from PayPal. However, under certain unexpected circumstances (for instance, when using certain checkout customizations), the order creation may have been inadvertently triggered without containing all relevant buyer details.

    To work around this issue, you could consider downgrading to the previous version 2.1.0, or you might want to try out this test version. This version includes a proposed fix that is planned to be incorporated in the upcoming update.

    Your feedback would be immensely appreciated if you choose to try out this test version, particularly if you’re encountering the issue of empty order details with update 2.2.0. Thank you!

    Having same issue where orders come in without the customer details. Sometimes, order would be processed twice, one with the details and the other without. In one instance, customer was charged twice.

    Same happening here. All plugins in latest update. Several payment types and this problem only happens with Paypal orders. Guest client orders NOT active. I’ve tried several ways to reproduce the error without success ??
    Just like another user reported (@pandowata) we also have the same client IP 173.0.81.140 on all problematic orders.
