Detailed Page Stats
-
Hi,
Since a few days I experience some challenges with Site Kit.
In the Site Kit Summary there is this url displayed as: (not set). When I click on it, it brings me to a page called “Detailed Page Stats” where it states “It looks like the URL https://www.celestialrebel.com/ is not part of this site, therefore there is no data available to display.”
I’ve just updated the plugin but no changes in what is described above. I checked if all the Site Kit tools are connected the proper way and I’ve got green bullets everywhere.
Can you please advice how to solve this or what causes this issue?
Thank you in advance.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Please find screenshots as requested of two of my websites.
celestialrebel.com is the site where I experience the Detailed Page Stats issues and no Google Site Kit tab is shown.
dj-gadgets.com is the other site, also here no Google Site Kit tab is shown. But on this website I have no Site Kit problems (hopefully it stays that way!)
Thank you.
@abdullahramzan Sorry, i forgot to insert the link to Imgur:
@celestialrebel Thanks for sharing the details provided on this so far. Let’s check the admin menu toolbar first, before reviewing your “Detailed Page Stats” issue. The Site Kit tab should appear when checking the site on the front end only (while logged in of course!).
Can you share a screenshot of the frond end of your site (the celestialrebel.com site), showing your admin toolbar. If the Site Kit icon doesn’t appear please share any console errors you see on the same screen. From inspecting your site it looks like you may have some JS resources combined and some other optimizations which could potentially be impacting your Site Kit admin toolbar.
Thank you for your time!
Please find the two screenshots here:

https://imgur.com/JbIupXL – Chrome development tool screenshot (I did not know it gives me so many errors and this is way out of my knowledge, unfortunately. I would not know yet how to solve this and part from Site Kit according to me the site works and loads fine for someone like me with not so much technical knowledge and regular visitors)
Hope this will help to solve the Site Kit challenge…
Thank you for sharing, very useful indeed. As there are multiple console errors do you mind logging into your site from a Chrome browser incognito window before then following the steps below (similar to the steps performed previously).
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
- Visit the front end of your site and check the admin toolbar once more. Don’t be alarmed with the temporarily switch to a core theme, this is part of the troubleshooting mode feature
You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.
If the Site Kit tab does appear in your admin toolbar we can assume there is some conflict or configuration with a theme function or most likely a plugin. Let me know either way and we can hopefully determine the cause.
I did as described but still there is no Site Kit tab shown, see screenshot from incognito mode https://imgur.com/GaepdXv
Sincerely I still do believe the problem is with Site Kit. Let me describe a bit more on my experience.
Till about 3 updates from Site Kit ago, there were no problems at all. Even though I had WPML installed already, but I did not use the translation options yet so the WPML plugin was only activated. I wanted to translate my blog/website but never did it. I mention this as in former replies to my thread it was mentioned the issues I experience are due to a (any?) translate plugin. So I removed the WPML plugin straight away. That did not solve the problems unfortunately. At first, I was a bit surprised because of this as like stated before, there were no problems using Site Kit and having a translation plugin installed together…
Then suddenly the problems with Site Kit started. I did not even realize the Site Kit tab was gone, until it was asked about it in this support/problem-solving request. But I did see the Site Kit Summary displaying an url as: (not set)
https://imgur.com/1WDdn4Q – (not set)
When I clicked the link (not set) the following message turned up on the page showing me the Detailed Page Stats “It looks like the URL https :// www. celestialrebel .com/ is not part of this site, therefore there is no data available to display.”

All Google services I connected through Site Kit appear to be connected the correct way, as everything shows a green bullet: https://imgur.com/F9n6uyH
I use the Divi theme, but I do not believe that is a problem in any way. And this is an overview of the plugins I use: https://imgur.com/JPb0u5o
Thanks again for your time and investigation.

I replied with a lot of information but that post is now under moderation, don’t know why.
Many thanks for going to the trouble of performing the steps previously advised. I can see your response via email so thanks for your thorough response. The screenshot you’ve provided (in the moderated post, I’m also unsure why) only show your site from a browser incognito window, but this is not using “troubleshooting” mode, as evident from viewing a non core theme and other admin bar menus.
Do you mind performing the steps once more, I’ve listed them below:
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
- Visit the front end of your site and check the admin toolbar once more. =
If you provide a screenshot from there, while checking any browser console errors this might provide insights. You’ll also see a “troubleshooting” tab while in troubleshooting mode.
Let me know if you would like me to provide a video showcasing how to perform the above. In short when using the troubleshooting mode it mimics a clean WordPress install, with no plugins active and using a core theme. Once Site Kit is activated in Troubleshooting mode we can then see if the admin menu appears, to troubleshoot possible conflicts. We have had other conflicts with particular WP Rocket configurations, and from inspecting your site details it looks like you have JS resources combined which could be a factor.
Thanks again for the reply.
Please see this, as I do not see a troubleshoot tab either. I made a screenshot where it proves I did turn it on https://imgur.com/6p9nvfY
Not I have even more questions about tabs I should see in WordPress and why they are not showing. I am not aware that there should be more tabs next to Site Kit that I should see. It feels as if the challenges I encounter are getting more complex somehow and I don’t know where to start investigate more myself ?? (part from the tips you guys give me)
I am up to now only aware I have problems with Site Kit. (??)
Update:
I noticed a message in Troubleshooter that I have no standard theme installed. But I had the twenty twenty one theme installed next to my Divi (Extra) theme. I now removed the twenty twenty one theme and installed twenty twenty instead. The message is gone, but it seems that was not related to the Site Kit issues.
Sorry, I overlooked the request to also make a screenshot now with the Chrome develop tools: https://imgur.com/JUuWbZ0
Interesting, it looks like you have both the WP Rocket plugin still active and your standard theme active, which is unusual. Appreciate your troubleshooting efforts so far. Just to confirm you’re in troubleshooting mode from the same browser window? If so then maybe some type of particular caching is loading a cached version of your site.
If you’re not exhausted from all the troubleshooting so far please follow the steps below:
- Temporarily deactivate WP Rocket
- Open a Chrome browser incognito window once more and login to your site
- Using the same incognito window open your front end while in troubleshooting mode
- If you don’t see a core theme active when checking your site from the front end once more in the same incognito window open up Chrome dev tools and disabling your browser from serving from cache (Network > Disable Cache > Reload – See this video I created)
After checking the above please let me know if you can see the Site Kit (and troubleshooting) admin bar menu. If you have any questions let me know!
Just seeing your response now, it looks like we responded at similar times!
The message is gone, but it seems that was not related to the Site Kit issues.
That’s great that you were able to determine a theme related issue. It’s normal that while in troubleshooting mode a core theme is used. We can try and determine the exact conflict now if you wish, most likely some JavaScript assets once optimized via WP Rocket are resulting in this issue. Does the same issue occur with your Divi theme once again activated while in troubleshooting mode? (You can select the theme from the admin toolbar)
Thank you too for time and patience.
I did as described: https://imgur.com/UDk4poG
I do see the troubleshooter tab now: https://imgur.com/U07yH7o
Still no Site Kit tab though.
