“Destination folder already exists” for RevSlider

    Hello All,

    I am getting this error when attempting to install Revolution Slider to Modish Theme 1.0.6:

    “Destination folder already exists. /home1/aniellee/public_html/ellevalera/wp-content/plugins/revslider/

    Plugin install failed.”

    I’m a laymen so thank you for explaining how I should trouble shoot in the simplest terms! Thanks!

  • Hello there,

    It means you have already a folder named revslider in your plugins directory.
    Navigate to plugins in WordPress dashboard and check revslider plugin if you found it delete it.But don’t found try to access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the folder “revslider”.
    After that you can install the plugin from WordPress dashboard.
