    I had previously tried out Brute Force and other advanced security features that would redirect “so-called” spammers/hackers to a 127.0.0.1 . But I closed all those features. I only have login name change. Despite this, me and my members regularly get locked out.

    Is it possible that these attributes are still inside my htaccess file?
    What are these and how can I erase them?
    This is getting really annoying..

    Hi,

    I had it enabled a while back but already disabled it.

    I would like to completely close the lockdown/ip ban/etc. features.

    I have all of them disabled but I (and other members) still get locked out from time to time.

    I think your best option is to reset the plugin and start from scratch. Please check the following instructions to reset the plugin.
