Desperately looking for a plugin where I can select the authors for a post

  • Hi there,

    I manage a wordpress site and I want the option to manually select the author of a post when I’m logged in as the admin. I know this is possible for wordpress.com but can’t seem to find anything for www.remarpro.com. I don’t want the writers to have to log into the website to be attributed to a post – I just want to select the author from the backend before publishing. Any help here would be great!

  • That feature is baked into WordPress already. On the post entry page click the ‘screen options’ in the top right. Now check the ‘Author’ checkbox. This will show a drop down list of the users who can be chosen as the author in the post entry screen.
