Desktop view for rebalance theme has left hand column blank

Hi there,

First, in the desktop view, when I open a post url, there is a huge blank left hand column. Is this space for ads? How do I remove this space in the desktop mode view?

That space is not for ads, no. It’s just regular whitespace – this theme designed to have the content-area over-balancing to the right, instead of appearing in the center of the screen like you’d usually see.

If this is space for ads, how do I insert ad code into the blank space?

It’s not possible to add ads to that space directly, but if you use a plugin to add ads to your site, you should then be able to use CSS code to force the ads to display in that area if you want. I wouldn’t personally recommend that, though, as it would break the design of this theme. Moving ads with CSS like that also doesn’t always work well, and it’s not something we’ll be able to help you with.

Thanks, can this whitespace be removed in Desktop view?

Or if the whitespace in the left hand side can’t be removed, can you please help by suggesting a similar theme? I really like the simplicity of your theme.

Could you take a screen shot of how you see the site on desktop view? Add it here with a third party link through droplr or similar program.

When I look at your site the content is centered on the page. There are equal empty spaces to both the left and right of the content. I want to make sure that we’re seeing the same thing before you make any changes.

My apologies, the theme didn’t suit my needs. It was a pretty theme but was limited in features. Thanks!
