Desktop Preview Size

  • Step1: I am composing a post or page and click ‘Preview’ in a new tab,
    Step2: AND/OR when I am using theme customizer and select the Desktop ‘Preview’,
    Step 3: The screen starts to load full page width then suddenly re-sizes to something much smaller (looks like table size). Tablet mode and Mobile mode display just fine.

    When I change themes from Neve to TwentySeventeen, the problem persists. I have already cleared cache, cleared browser cache, tried Health Check troubleshooting mode and problem persists.

    The breakpoints in your CSS are still valid, and the customizer window makes your main content area 400px narrower (or so), so it could be that your CSS is looking at your viewport width and it IS tablet width, because of the customizer.
