I have two questions regarding the plugin and can’t find this addressed elsewhere. If it has been, please direct me otherwise.

    1. Can we change the dollar amount options from the ones that are offered in the form without too much CSS coding? For example, we would like one of the options to be $300 as that is the cost to sponsor one of our meal programs. I’m not an expert on CSS but could follow a “how-to” if given instructions.

    2. Can you more fully explain how “funds” can and should be used with this plugin? It seems that when you create a fund, all it does is let the NPO know that someone wants their donation to go towards that option directly, rather than the general fund. Is there any documentation demonstrating how NPO’s use the FUNDS option to drive specific donations? When I create a fund, all I see on a post is the name of the fund but no place to provide a description or create a full post with donation information or track history of donations to this fund.

Would love some more information regarding how we can use the “funds” option to benefit our organization, specifically around sponsorship type of funding. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Rachel,

Regarding your first question, this tutorial will walk you through question 1:

Unfortunately, right now it does involve coding.

As for question 2, right now funds are a bit primitive. They are simply a designator, like for example if you want to allow people to donate to the picnic fund vs. the porch-rebuild fund. All it does is grab that information and store it as a preference record. There’s nothing much else beyond that.

Over time, I hope to make funds much more capable, but that’s where we are today.
