Designated Blog Page Loses It’s Image?

  • Hi,

    I have created a page in which I have placed an image then in settings I have set this page as the default Blog page. However after doing this the image on the page disappears. If I remove the page as the designated Blog page it reappears. What is going on here?

    There should be an image on the right side … It is there in edit mode?

  • the ‘blog’ page generally uses the index.php or home.php template of your theme, and does not show any content of the actual page.

    to show the content of the actual page before the list of posts, you might need to create a home.php template or edit index.php (in a child theme) …
