Design text is forced in an h2

    When I enter maintenance mode I would like to create custom HTML around my message. But I just noticed that the Design text is forced inside an h2 tag. How can i replace that h2 tag with a <div></div>. I want to choose what the parent and child elements should be when writing my text message.

  • Hello @blackawxs,

    Here’s a solution (that will not be overwritten everytime you update the plugin):
    1. copy maintenance.php from plugin’s folder /views/ sub-directory to /wp-content/wp-maintenance-mode.php
    2. edit /wp-content/wp-maintenance-mode.php however you need
