Design tab vanished

Hi I have installed word press I used the design tab about
three times then it up and vanished I have installed two
more word press on the same domain and no design tab how to fix as editing without design tab is mean and nasty and more problems to solve on placement of pictures and text I would very much like to fix and have it back
