Design Question

  • I was expecting the Classic Editor Plugin to replicate the existing functionality – but is does not. Is that by design or omission?

    What functionality isn’t replicated? It disables Gutenburg and returns to the classic editor.

    Can you provide more detail? It’s also better if you have screenshot or example URL.

    Classic Editor disables Gutenberg in WordPress 4.9.8 (if installed) and the Block editor in WordPress 5.0-beta. This leaves the current editor (TinyMCE) and the Edit Post screen exactly the same as in previous WordPress versions.
