design and use a custom template

    Hi,

    I wanted to customize wpea-event-meta.php so I may remove some fields from the event’s page, but if I want to know if I edit this file, on every plugin update what will happen to my changes? and if you override my changes how should I customize the plugin in a way to make it permanent?

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    You can create a template file in the active child theme and customize the template as you wish. Which will not be affected by the plugin update, you can create a template in the child theme with the below name.

    The template Name: single-wp_events.php
