Deselect payment method on checkout

  • Hi,

    in WooCommerce is on the checkout page the first payment method automatically selected. Is there a way that it is NOT selected, so NO payment method is selected?

  • You need to use at least one gateway to make process the Order unless it’s a free product. If you can explain what you are trying to achieve then other’s may share their ideas to achieve that.

    There are no native settings for that; It’ll require some custom coding to have none selected by default ??

    I ask for this because we in Germany have sooo strict rules ?? . For example on an internet shop checkout page a payment gateway MUST NOT be preselected.

    So, Riaan, do you know perhaps how to code this? Or is there another one who could help. That would be great.
