Deselect payment gateway

    Hello,

    I want to Deselect Default selected payment gateway. So that When user click on place order button without selecting payment option then user get the error message.
    I checked the previous threads and try to do this but nothing happen.

    Please share some solution for this.

    I’m assuming you are using default WooCommerce payment methods (not payment method extensions).

    If you have one or more of the available payment methods enabled, the first one will be automatically selected as the default one, even without the buyer clicking on it. This cannot be bypassed. You can only change the order in which the payment methods are presented, as the topmost one will be the default one.

    However, if none of the payment methods are enabled then the order cannot be completed as the buyer will see the error “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”
