Description with customfields not limit to 160 characters

  • Hi.
    my versions:(wp:3.6 – wpseo: 1.4.13)

    It’s either a bug or maybe there is an easy fix. Thanks.

    1) when custom fields used in meta description – it’s not limits to 160 characters.
    (so it outputs all content in the custom fields -without limiting the description output to 160 characters…) (which can display a very long description…obviously is very bad….)
    2) custom fields used in “title” does not display.
    * it displays in description – but not in title.

    Hope there is an easy fix.

    Hi.
    I’ve worked out the title -so it’s now good.

    The only issue is the description: when I use my custom fields in meta description – it’s not stripping to 160 characters.

    I hope there is an easy fix.
