    hello,

Can your plugin put the description under each picture?

    For example:

    [——-] [——-]
    | | | |
    | pic1) | | (pic2)|
    [——-] [——-]

    Desc 1 Desc 2

My point is, for example, we put three picture in one column, and then under their column we can put the description.

I hope my question is clear enough!

    Regards,
    BD

    Hi batandmine,
actually the plugin has a style that you can choose to have descriptions under the pictures, it’s called “LightBox WITH labels” – it uses the labels you set in the gallery.

Hope I understood well the question, extracting the images “description” fields and using them as labels is not at all supported at present, even though it might be an interesting feature to be added.

Unfortunately the “LightBox WITH labels” worked fine on the default theme in WP 3.6, it seem not to work on the new default theme in WP 3.7 and in many other.
I haven’t had much feedback about this style so far, that’s because the issue was a bit left behind.

Please, enable te “LightBox WITH labels” style on a post/page where you have the gallery, then post its URL.

This way, I can see what I can do.

Hi, Nice plugin. I like the simple part – nextGEN has way too many options for the simple site (darrellfortner.com) I am building. I have to ask. Is there a way to put the Titles under the thumbnails, centered? If not, this would be a good feature to add.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hi there,
in the neewly-relased version 3.2 I have fixed the issues on the “with/without labels” functionality.

I suggest you upgrade you Simplest Gallery plugin to 3.2

You can check this page for an example on how the “with labels” works now.

The layout might differ from theme to theme, but usually you can solve any problems by tweaking the CSS.
