Description of slides in the Slider

The theme slider has limitations. Try using smart slider 3.

Great! And then how do I swap the original slider out with the newly built with smart slider 3? Thanks.

On default blog page or shop page use shortcode in “appearance” > “Front Page Settings (blog/shop)” > “Other slider Shortcode”. The slider shortcode will be like [smartslider3 slider=1]

For static front page, a drop down with list of all sliders will appear. select the one you want to be your slider for that page
