Description not evaluated when set to %%excerpt%%

    When using %%excerpt%% for the meta description, the Yoast meta-box will not evaluate the excerpt if typed in the excerpt. However, if text is input directly in the Yoast description field, the length will be evaluated.

    I have disabled all other plugins and this behavior continues.
