Description Meta Tags

  • I want to add description meta tags and create title tags as in the google SEO guide but I dont know how. Where do I go in WP2.7 to access HTML?

    You need to add description meta tags from index file of your blog. You need to add keywords, description tags in meta tags..for google SEO.

    Use a meta description plugin or seo plugin to do this.

    I have a similar problem. Except I have wp 2.5.1 not 2.7. I have the all in one seo plugin with description and keywords in there, but I don’t have meta tags. How do I add them so google can find my site? I just remembered that when I go to current theme options I can put the description and keywords in there, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. This has been a big problem for me, and I went to a couple sites and they checked my site and said I didn’t have any meta tags when I thought I did. Apparently I don’t know what I’m doing. Help please.

    I installed All in One SEO. But I’m not sure how to use it. The box for re-write titles is checked. But for Post Title Format and Page Title Format it has “%post_title% | %blog_title%” What does this mean? Do I have to edit this or is that code that uses Page and post titles in Metatags?
