Hi. This plugin allows you to create meta tags for specific pages/posts or for a subset of page types (e.g. all pages, post types, taxonomies like category pages etc.).

In your case, I’m guessing you probably want a unique author and description for each post or page, right? Whilst this plugin can do it, it’s manual so it may not be the best option for you.

In case you do want to use MTM for this, within a page/post editor you should see a ‘Meta Tags’ box where you can add multiple meta tags. You’d choose ‘Tag Type’ = name for both, under ‘name value’ you’d select author and description and under ‘content value’ you’d add the author name or description you need to add.

Hope that helps! You have however inspired a feature idea, dynamic field vlaues ??

?? glad i could help marcus.

in fact i’ve used your plugin now. so thx for this.

btw… is a refresh tag important?

It really depends on your site, in most cases no and not even suggested. If you want the user to automatically refresh your content every x seconds, then that’s the tag for you (although it can be ignored by the browser).
