Description is not synced along with products

  • Hi,
    My name is Vishal. I recently created a custom feed for Facebook. Used the default settings for description but it’s not showing. I am getting missing description errors on uploading the created feed to Facebook.

    So, the problem can be the use of shortcodes. Currently, I’m using elementor templates for descriptions and shortcodes to display product descriptions.

    Maybe, I need a custom code that can start processing shortcodes as product descriptions.

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Our plugin does not support shortcodes so when you are using shortcodes to display product descriptions then our plugin indeed won’t pick up on those. You should have your descriptions available in a custom field or attribute that you can then map to the g:description field of Facebook.

    Ohh okay.
    That means I have to find another good plugin. Bcoz I don’t have time to change the description of 100s of added products.
    But, still, I would suggest you include this very basic feature in the coming updates.
