Description is not always imported

    I repeated the import into a fresh database. The issue remains. I compared that with coppermine and pixtacy. Both import IPTC always reliable. WPPA doesn’t. What could be the cause?

    Unfortunately I can not add some screenshots to show this.

    Please mail me the two original photo files ( including the expected ipct data ) you showed on the two links.

    I found it. It is due to the iso encoding of Schlo?park.
    In the next version ( 6.3.9 ) the data will be converted to utf8.
    This will fix it.

    As soon as 6.3.9 is available, install it and ‘Remake’ the files on the Album Admin -> Edit Photo Information screen, only for the photos that have the missing data.
