Description excerpt not showing in listing box

  • None of the description is showing. And yes, I have “Show description in listing box” checked. Have tested with list and grid display, and I have tried switching themes, no luck. Here is one of my shortcodes, if it helps… [es_my_listing city=749 layout=”list” show_page_title=0]

    please, make sure you have the latest version of the plugin (4.1.3) and all the posts have description.

    Thanks for the reply. I do have the latest version and every property has a description. I would send a screenshot but don’t know how

    All the properties on this page have descriptions, but they are not showing.

    I’m sorry that I was not more specific, the problem is that the excerpts are not showing in the grid layouts. They are showing when i use list layout. I checked out your demo site, and this seems to be normal behaviour.

    Is it possible display an excerpt on in the property card/box in grid layout?

    I was able to control how and where the excertps show with the plugin Ultra Excerpts. Advanced Excertps did not work for me. I can now control the length of the excerpts, which by default is too short for SEO purposes. I also had to adjust the size of the text with custom CSS.

    It would be nice to have excerpt options for the listing box (list and grid format)…. future update maybe?
