• I have no problem with premium plugins, nor do I have a problem with plugins that have a scaled down version and a pro version. What I do have a problem with is a company that lists the “Trial version” of their rather expensive premium plugin in the WordPress repository and does not mention in the description at all that it is a trial version and that if you want to keep the hours of work you spent setting it up, you will have to convince your client to pay a high premium. There isn’t even a description of what will be left of the plugin after the trial period runs out in another week. I just have to wait and see, but I am not hopeful that I can use the plugin at all.

I am extremely disappointed. I feel tricked. If there was a way to report this abuse to WordPress I certainly would.
