I’m having a problem figuring out why the plugin says this sometimes:

    Description: Length is Good
    And is used 3 times

Or whatever number. Where is it pulling this number from? For the record this happens on half my pages, but none of them have the text in the content more than once. The pages are made with Visual Composer, could that be causing it to count too many times?

    Hi @sts_jon,

These numbers warn you that you’re using “precious” description space with repeated words.

When potential visitors perform search queries on Google, and when a word in the search query doesn’t match anything in your set description, Google tends to generate a custom description from the content of your page. This is unwanted by many website owners.

However, with the recent increase of the description length, these “word count warnings” were more likely to occur. This number still needs adjusting, and the warning can safely be ignored in many circumstances.

The word is taken from the description that’s outputted on the respective page. If it has a G next to it, it means it’s auto-generated.
You can view the used description by going to the post edit screen. It’s placed in an edit field within the Post/Page SEO Settings meta box, next to “Custom Post/Page Description”.

Visual Composer doesn’t contribute to this behavior. Instead, it should prevent autogenerated descriptions.

I hope this explains the lot ?? Cheers!
