Description beneath images in slideshow or gallery view

  • I have galleries in both the regular Next Gen gallery AND the Next Gen Pro gallery and STILL can’t make it show the description text, or even the title under the picture while it’s in thumbnail view, or show up at all when it’s in slideshow view (the viewer has to scroll over the image to see the title, or else click the image when it’s in thumbnail view only).

    I’ve tried everything – including creating albums of the galleries – but still can’t show a title or description under the photos while in either slideshow or thumbnail view… in either galleries or albums.

    I have two clients now who’ve asked me for this and are really pissed off – one of whom bought the Pro version at my request. From the description, it seemed like it should work, but I can’t seem to figure out how.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks for your help – I got through to the nextgen-gallery website with your last link, but the process just opened up a whole new world of mess (don’t even ask) and I still haven’t gotten through to someone who can help with my question (which doesn’t seem complicated enough to require such difficulty), but I am hopeful that I will eventually get an answer.
