• Hello,

    Quick question. Is there somewhere I can set the “Description” and “Instructions” fields for the plugin, or does it not have the ability to set these fields?

    To give an example of what I’m talking about here, if you go into Woocommerce settings > Checkout > Check Payments – there are 3 fields – Title, Description, and Instructions.

    If I click on Braintree Payment Gateway > WooCommerce Settings, it seems only “Title Text” is available and the other 2 fields are not.

    Hi @sipitai,

    At the moment we only allow Title Text. That is because Title Text is visible on the checkout page where as the other options are purely displayed in the Admin pages. Because of that, we want to control the text that appears on the admin pages for consistency. Anything that is customer facing though we want the admin to be able to configure.

    Hi Clayton,

    The fields I’m refering to appear on the Checkout and Order Received pages, as well as in the email sent to the customer.

    That’s the reason I need to customise them. I’m using them to provide information to the customer based on the payment method they’ve used.

    Hi @sipitai,

    We will take a look at these options you have referenced. In the order received page, the payment method that was used is displayed in an SAQ A accepted format which would look like 4111********1111. If you want, please contact us at [email protected] and provide us with a screenshot. That will help us get on the same page pretty quick.
