Dequeque script and style

    Hi Dario,
    how to dequeque script and style on the pages that don’t use plugin?
    I’m trying to use 

    wp_dequeue_script( 'yet-another-stars-rating' );
wp_deregister_script( 'yet-another-stars-rating' );

    but nothing happens.
