Deprecated media buttons

    I noticed a tiny message tucked in between other text atthe top of each of my product page:

    Deprecated: media_buttons_context is deprecated since version 3.5.0! Use media_buttons instead. in /xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-includes/functions.php on line xxxx

    Why do I have this message? Why do I need to make this change manually? I thought that all plugin updates make all the necessary changes, that’s the whole idea of a plugin update.

    Will this update change the look of my product media images?

    Hello,
    You do not need to make any changes manually. This error most likely means that some of your plugins/theme are still using outdated code.

    Updating is indeed the point of solving this kind of issues, but if the most recent version of a plugin still uses outdated code there’s not much you can do, the author needs to update again.

    I would recommend disabling your plugins one by one to see when the error disappears and find out which plugin is causing it, then contact the author for a fix or replace the plugin with another one.

    thanks for your reply.

    I haven’t updated WC to the current version yet – will do it today – so hopefully whatever is out of sync will be synced ??
