• We are using elementor pro Version 3.0.6 with Elementor Addon Elements v 1.9.1 and noticed the EAE Modal Popup’s on our site no longer function.

    We noticed we are now getting the error “Deprecated: jquery-slick is deprecated since version 2.7.0! Use Swiper instead.” and our popup modals all over the site do not work.

    Is there plugin or update that fixes this?

    I’m not sure why we are getting this now, we developed this site a few months back, and always keep it up to date, this seems like an old issue?

  • Hello,

    same as in “Ocean Elementor Widgets”.

    It’s because the new Elementor v3.1.0

    If you roll back to Elementor v3.0.16, you “fix” the problem.

    I think you have to wait a Elementor Addon Elements update.

    Thanks @scarpinoc

    I was thinking this would be the temporary resolution as well.

    Hi

    We are not using Slick library in any of our widget. It seems like some other plugin on your site is using it and that is causing the javascript to break.
    Before updating Elementor, make sure that all your plugins (Elementor related) are compatible with it.
    We have already pushed an update last week to make sure that our plugin is compatible with this release.

    Hi,

    Can anyone help me to resolve this issue on urgent basis.

    Deprecated: jquery-slick is deprecated since version 2.7.0! Use Swiper

    By this issue I am not able to access elemntor left menu icons for drag and drop.

    @shubham994

    As mentioned above Slick is not used in our plugin. Please check other Elementor addons installed on your site.

    I have the same error message.
    When I deactivate Premium Addons for Elementor it disappears.
    Is there a way to handle this error?

    I put this at the top of my wp-config.php, inside the php tag of course. Hides the errors for now. ??

    ini_set(‘display_errors’,’Off’);
    ini_set(‘error_reporting’, E_ALL );
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);

    Hello,
    I was receiving the same error for the past couple days . After finding this thread and looking at the responses Anand Upadhyay states to look for other elementor add on plug-ins. I use the Ocean WP theme which has an additional elementor plug-in included. I’ve temporarily deactivated that and the error has dissappeared.
