Deprecated jQuery in use

Hello,
When using this plugin I get the following message:
“jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated – Plugin: Image Hover Effects https://mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/image-hover-effects/admin/admin.js https://mywebsite/wp-admin/admin.php?page=caption_hoverIs there a way you could please update this?
I have to use the jQueryMigrate Plugin so that my website still works until this is taken care of.
