ok so is the class-simplepie.php file necessary for wordpress to work? can I find a way to work around it or to delete it or something?

Even I got this on one of my website after I recently updated the wordpress to 3.0.5.
But it only appears on one site while rest work just great.

    Any solutions yet?

I have the same problem as you describe Harish Chouhan. Eg. only one of several blogs have this problem.

I have upgraded to a newer version of PHP and that seems to be the problem. The new version is more strict that the older one and the class-simplepie.php is compatible with older versions but not ok with the new stric php settings.

Hello Hoyce, I was able to remove the error, by disabling all plugins and then activating one at a time. For me the error was due to the plugin named “IDrive backup for wordpress”

Ok, I will try that. Do you know which method call the IDrive plugin used?

Do you use IDrive plugin Hoyce?

No, but maybe some other plugin of mine use same type of methods that causes the errors.
