Deprecated functions flagged up on my dashboard!

  • Hi All,

    As far as I am aware, nothing has been changed on my side but today when I logged in onto my dashboard, I get a huge list of

    Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-includes\class-simplepie.php on line 738

    in the ‘incoming links’ and ‘wordpress blogs’ panels.

    I have also noticed that a page where I am using a form (using the module ‘formBuilder’) has gone wrong

    Can anyone shed some light on what might have caused this/is causing this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
