I get this message when woocommerce is active in wp 6.3

Deprecated: Function WP_Scripts::print_inline_script is deprecated since version 6.3.0! Use WP_Scripts::get_inline_script_data() or WP_Scripts::get_inline_script_tag() instead. in /var/docs/xxxxxx.com/public/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5452

When i turn off woocommerce it is gone

It is coming from woocommerce blocks minicart.php line 357 and 358

    Please fix.

  • Hi @neo2k23 ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are seeing the above notice when activating WooCommerce, is this correct?

I’d like to have a better understanding of your sites current environment, please can you share the following:

    • System Status report: which you can find via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

Once you have this, please share the results in your response here.

    Cheers!

No i am seeying these when woocommerce is active. in any theme in a clean wp running wodpress 6.3 latest trunk build.

    Further info here https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/39101

Please look into block includes minicart.php line 357 and 358

You are calling a deprecated function. This has nothing to do with my install or fatal errors in my status report.

The function call is deprecated and needs to be updated either by get_inline_script_data or by get_inline_script_tag

    Thank you.

    Hi @neo2k23 ,

While this is not something I am able to replicate on my test site using WP 6.3, since this was recently reported on GitHub, our developers will take a closer look.

I’d suggest subscribing to the thread to stay looped in on any updates as they are made.

    Cheers!

    Hi folks,

This should be fixed in WooCommerce 8.0.
