    Hi,

I’m looking for a way to include a standardized statement on a number of my pages and your plugin seems to be one-of-a-kind!

However, having installed the plugin and placed the shortcode in to embed the statement I get the following error:

Deprecated: parse_str(): Calling parse_str() without the result argument is deprecated in /home/holobric/public_html/wp-content/plugins/improved-include-page/iinclude_page.php on line 58

The shortcode I have used is [include-page id=”/database-library/referencing-caveat/”] and I have also tried to reference the page ID, but the error persists.

I am using version 1.2 of the plugin and WordPress 5.5.

Can you help at all? It would be great to only have to edit one statement page, and not every page that the statement appears on.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

For now, you can just ignore the warning. “Deprecated” means something won’t work in some future version of PHP, but is fine at the moment. However, it is certainly something I should address in the next release.

    Hi Marios

Ignoring the warning isn’t an option because it appears in the content of the page.

I’ve found the “Include Me” plugin and used that instead.

You might want to turn off the displaying of errors and warnings on the front-end. That setting is useful for finding problems, but I’ve found it better to have an error log that captures things so that users aren’t interrupted with messages.

I’m glad you found a solution via another plugin though. Good luck with the site!

Ah of course, I had the debugging mode set to true. Thanks for the pick up.
