Hello, I made a new site and tested this plug in to check if it’s better than fast cgi. Unfortunately, page speed insights says that my site is using deprecated API. When I was using fast cgi, there’s no such error. What should I do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @harmonyous,
I have looked at isssue and ran your website in Google PSI. I honestly have no idea what’s causing that cause generally if Google PSI tool shows deprecated API, it also shows exactly which script is using deprecated API and what deprecated API is being used.

But unfortunately every time I have tested it did not show the name of the script or the API name for which it is throwing the error.

I have also checked browser console to see if there is any info about deprecated API but unfortunately nothing is there as well.

Even running Lighthouse at the browser level did not throw that message. So, I am not sure what’s causing this. Maybe it’s a bug in Google PSI tool, not sure. But I think you can definitely ignore it.

    Hi @isaumya,
Yeah, only google psi has that kind of message. I tried all other checker I can find online there no message about api at all.
Also tried deactivating all my plugins aside from this one but it didn’t work. However, once I deactivated this plugin, it will no longer show up. I thought you should be able to find out what’s the problem since I only get that error message(?) upon activating this plugin.
In any case, I think the minus 8 pts on “Best Practices” score is negligible compared to the positive effect this plugin brings.
    Thanks for checking it out.

    Hi @harmonyous,
The wired thing is that I’ve also run PSI on many other websites that also uses this plugin and I have not seen this issue for any of those sites. Somehow, it’s only there on your website.

Just to know are you using the option “Remove Cache Buster Query Param” option inside the plugin settings > other tab? If not. Try it out. Check the implementation guide and add the Cache Rules no. 1-3.

    Then check again.

I also have openlitespeed sites and an old LAMP site that are using this plugin and I never had any problem. I tried using lemp for this one and I got this error for some reason.
Tried cache buster and it didn’t work. I guess google hates my new set up.

Thanks for checking this out. I don’t think it’s this plugin’s fault.
