    Hi,
Our shop uses the WooCommerce Amazon Pay plugin. As we sell beverages a deposit is mandatory for use in the german market.

Therefore we use “Pfand (Deposit) for WooCommerce Products“ Version: 2.0.0

Unfortunately, according to the Amazon Pay plugin documentation, exactly three things are transmitted: Products, Taxes and Shipping. The deposit is a variable here that is not taken into account.

So we’re actually losing money with every order processed via Amazon Pay plugin.

Has anyone experienced the same problem or is using a different plugin for the deposit, which works properly with amazon pay ?

Thank you for any help or hints.

    Hey there,

The plugin you mention has not received updates for the last 4 years. So I suggest to find a new one so you can add an extra fee or deposit to your product, or hire some developer to build a custom one. Not only for sales reasons, but also for security.

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Best,
    Christian
