• Is there a way to deploy the Media Library like deploying a database – including changes to file names and folder locations (ie. if I use Enable Media Replace plugin which allows me to upload a file with a changed name and a new folder the images are in). I’d do it manually but we are planing to update images with slightly different names and these images will go in the current months folders – and doing it manually is a pain.

  • If I underatand what you mean ………. which maybe I do not,
You will need to know the current names and structure (file paths) to your images. Then, you would take the new image and replace it with the same name and path. Yes, it’s manual. However, you do not have to do them one by one.
Edit all your new images locally, and keep the same names and paths as on the server. Then when you are ready, upload the entire local folder structure that matches that of the server.

FYI, this is a bit risky.
