Dependable Server side Backup

I’ve found BackupWordpress to be highly reliable over the last 5 years or more as a manual or semi-automated server side backup tool. As a developer I find it combines well with commercial off-server services as it’s simple to trigger your own manual backups from within WordPress for either Database or Database and Files depending on what changes you are planning to make and want a simple form of rollback insurance.
The full continuous automated backups I found were reliable on smaller sites, but sometimes get jammed up on larger sites and for that reason I use this plugin semi-manually with only the minimum of versions backed up onto the web server, and instead I rely on Automated Paid Cloud backups for the entire server as my offsite failsafes.
