Deny vs Grant

    With the option of deny and grant capabilities…if one is granted can the others just be left unchecked or do they need to be checked as denied? I’m curious as to the double method here. If it is not granted, isn’t it already denied and vice versa?

    In many cases Users can have more than one role, so deny ensures they cannot do something if another role gives them that capability.

    If you’re certain your users will not have multiple roles, then you don’t need to check deny.
