Deny message not showing

    I have a few custom groups. If someone logs in with a role that doesn’t have permission to the page, I get a “too many redirection error” vs. the message that says access is denied.

    @xfire0384 Can you first try clearing browser caches to make sure you don’t have a previous restriction tests redirect cached in the browser. Otherwise it generally would indicate whatever page its redirecting to is redirecting back to the same restricted page, thus causing an infinite loop.

    So I’d check the url to be sure other than a cached redirect.

    Hi

    I’ve made sure the cache is clear and any auto login (remember me options) on my accounts is disabled.

    Still having the same issue.

    I have a page /wtw protected (with a custom group called wtw) and directed to the login page. Even if I’m not logged in I’m getting the redirection error. So I don’t think it has to do with the user groups.

    Okay. The when not logged in issue is fixed.

    Still not seeing the deny message if a user is logged in and direct have access.
