Denied Access to To visit any page in wp-admin portal

  • Hello,

    I encountered an issue with the wp-admin portal. I installed and modifyed the themes few days ago. Last night, upon logging in, I found that I couldn’t access any posts, pages, or settings within the wp-admin, despite the site is functioning properly.

    Although the login is successful, attempting to click on any buttons, such as page or post, prompts the message: “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access this resource.”

    Does anyone have any insights on how to resolve this issue?

  • Hi,

    Something might have gone wrong while updating the theme. You can confirm the same by renaming the folder of your active theme in the wp-content/themes folder via CPanel. If it fixes the problem, you might want to delete the theme and re-install it OR check if you have made any relevant changes. If it doesn’t make any difference contact your web host regarding this.
