    Hi,
    Your plugin seems interesting.

Is there a demo of the plugin someplace? Or a guide on how to use it. There is only a getting started guide and a tour on your site.

How do we set up menus to show ALL companies, All projects, Or active projects, finished project?

Persons are just persons… which are not linked to companies or am I missing something?

    THanks

For those looking for answer, list of all companies is quite easy actually – its https://yourdomain.com/?post_type=orbis_company

Unfortunately, there is no demo available. Just download + install the plugin and Orbis theme to testdrive.

As you already found out for companies, a company is a custom post type with the type ‘orbis_company’. As such, the archive page is available at /?post_type=orbis_company. The same is true for projects (‘orbis_project’) and persons (‘orbis_person’). An overview of currently implemented shortcodes is available at https://github.com/wp-orbis/wp-orbis/blob/493e43d0806ae375ed08a49e0b5ec7efd0cceff3/includes/shortcodes.php

Companies and Persons are like directories. For example, there’s also Orbis Tasks, which uses the usual WordPress users to assign tasks to users – not Orbis’ Persons.

    Enjoy using Orbis!

Thank you for the quick response.

So Orbis Person cannot be connected to a company or project? Orbis tour on the website shows linked to company.. ??

Hmm… just tried the shortcodes. All I get is a table header and other text in Dutch– I think!

    Projecten

    Sorteer op: Naam | Nummer
    Filter: Strippenkaart | Geen
Projectleider ID Opdrachtgever Project Datum Uren Factureerbaar Factuurnummer

You can use the Post 2 Post plugin to link custom post types.

Ah, that’s beautiful Dutch indeed ?? I added this as an issue on Github: https://github.com/wp-orbis/wp-orbis/issues/11

The templates are loaded from the /templates/ folder. I think you’ll be able to translate them from there.

Hmm. thanks, while I think this plugin has lot of potential, it needs more work. :)Will keep watching it for sure!

I installed the plugin and theme but have similar issues as the original poster. The plugin repo page clearly states that Core Features include the ability to “Manage Persons – Add persons and connect them to companies.” How can I connect a “Person” with a “Company”?

Orbis Persons and Companies are registered in WordPress as Customer Post Types. Thus, connecting them is possible with the use of a plugin such as Posts 2 Posts.
