    Hi I had to refresh for it to work, is that normal? Also can it be set for only a specific page with downloads and the user login is only for those downloads?

    You mean to have just one use login for all users?

    Hi thanks for the reply, I am using a laptop using windows 10. The next time I tried I had no problem though.

    This login will only be used on one page that will have a newly created user type (role) called “resource member” and to stay on the page e.g. refresh. I need the registration to be only for that user type (role) and to add a few more questions registration (sign up). Hope that makes sense.

    Sorry for the delay.

    Adding extra registration fields now possible only with PHP code and custom plugins like ACF Pro.

    About user role, if I clearly understand – you should select default registration role in wp settings: https://cdn4.wpbeginner.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/wp-user-registeration.png
